What would you do for love?
Life is an adventure. I like to think that while I'm racing around, imagining that I'm some sort of OO7 race car driver, that I'm still reading all the road signs the universe places along my path; that I'm being led towards my dreams, following the road one stretch at a time, as far as my headlights illuminate.
I haven't always been that way. I've run a few red lights. On purpose. I might also be the world's most directionally challenged person, but this time, the way seems unmistakable. I'm a hopeless romantic, always holding on to the end, ready to do anything and everything in the name of love. One more relationship may very well qualify me for saint-hood. This time, in the midst of screaming "I'm single!" with my high heels and red fingernails in the air, I heard music that made me sit down and put my lipstick away.
In the last two weeks, I've been picked up by a whirlwind and set on a cloud. No way am I looking down. No problem, I'll just catch a plane from here. We might not be speaking the same language (literally), but I can feel the music. The last time we were together, there was an earthquake (literally). Need I say more? No visa can possibly stand in my way.
So one sunny Sunday, while exclaiming to my girlfriends that there must be a way to bridge this distance between me and my French love, a way was made. "A bake sale!", cries Jina, "I have a Viking oven!" "I do events planning!" proclaims Kimberly. "Ahhh, anything for love," sighs Karina. And Raisa? Well, she just looks hot in a bikini. Sounded loud and clear to me. I'm going to take what the universe has given me and make cupcakes. I think even Meatloaf would have done this for love. France, here I come.

Keep an eye out for the order form and more details. Orders will begin around the week of July 26th, with my goal to leave for France by August 14th. The Anything for Love event will take place on the Georgetown Waterfront at a date TBD.
